UPSIDA has approved new industrial areas in Fatehpur and Ayodhya backed by a Rs 9,000 crore budget. The zones will focus on food processing, electronics, textiles, and logistics.
Ayodhya, which has seen unprecedented development following the Ram temple construction, is emerging as a major investment destination. The project is expected to create over 2 lakh direct and indirect jobs over five years.
Special incentives will be provided for MSMEs including subsidized land, power, and infrastructure. This is part of UP's ambitious goal to become a $1 trillion economy by 2027.
