India Achieves Record Electronics Exports of $47 Billion in 2025

India sets new record in electronics exports driven by smartphone manufacturing under the PLI scheme.

India has achieved record electronics exports of $47 billion in 2025. Around $30 billion came from PLI-driven smartphone exports, placing electronics as the third largest export category for India.

Major manufacturers including Apple and Samsung have expanded production in India under the Make in India initiative. The PLI scheme has attracted investments worth over Rs 2 lakh crore and created hundreds of thousands of jobs.

States like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh have emerged as major electronics manufacturing hubs. Analysts project India's electronics exports could reach $100 billion by 2030.
